Introduction

MAWIS is a technology used for providing map materials through Internet or intranet. This technology enables access and download of any types of geodata without user´s necessity to install special software, with the maximum protection of data against misuse ensured.

Users of MAWIS are, among others, TOWNS AND MUNICIPALITIES, DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES (administrators of technical infrastructure) and PROFESSIONAL PUBLIC (geodetic, design and building companies).

MAWIS was developed and is administered by the company HRDLICKA s. r. o., one of the biggest companies focused on the complex geodetic activity in central Europe.
